ZTE Nubia Redmagic 5S to come with 144Hz Screen, Snapdragon 865 Plus

Gaming smartphones are soon becoming a segment unto themselves. After the Asus ROG Phone 3 and Lenovo Legion Gaming Phone now it is ZTE that is entering the competition. The Nubia line of smartphones by ZTE is already known as gaming devices. The new smartphone or rather gaming device that ZTE is bringing is the Nubia Redmagic 5S. As per the leaks, the smartphone will be announced officially on July 28 but rumors have already started spreading and ZTE itself has released a video showcasing the strength of its new gaming device. ZTE is leaving no stone unturned when it comes to showcasing its new Nubia Redmagic 5S. 

Specifications of the ZTE Nubia Redmagic 5S:

The ZTE Nubia Redmagic 5S will be powered by the latest gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 plus processor. The screen will be a 144Hz panel with a 240Hz touch sampling rate. There are air triggers mounted on the side of the smartphone that can be programmed to perform functions in a game or an app. ZTE is calling this the shoulder trigger. The main feature of this device is the cooling system. CEO of Nubia has claimed that the ZTE Nubia Redmagic 5S will have the world’s best thermal cooling solution to give users uninterrupted gaming experience. There is going to be an internal fan that cools the smartphone. The Nubia Redmagic 5S will have a headphone jack as well. 

Many details are still unknown but since the smartphone is the successor to the Nubia Redmagic 5G and it also has a Snapdragon 865 plus we can predict certain features of the smartphone. The smartphone will support fast charging. There is 5G connectivity and massive storage of 128GB or above. The camera will not be a focus of the device and it should have at least 8GB of Ram or higher.
