Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro to go on sale on March 13

For the first time on the Redmi Note line-up, the Redmi Note 7 Pro features a gradient design in the Nebula Red and Neptune Blue colour variants.

The first sale of Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro will be held on March 13 on Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home Stores. Consumers can purchase the Redmi Note 7 Pro at Rs 13,499 (3GB+32GB) in space black, nebula red and neptune blue colours, starting 12 p.m. onwards.

The smartphone is packed with a 6.3-inch dot notch display, a glass back and a dual rear camera setup comprising of a 48MP+5MP sensor. For the first time on the Redmi Note line-up, the Redmi Note 7 Pro features a gradient design in the Nebula Red and Neptune Blue colour variants.

Combining a top-of-the-line Sony IMX586 sensor and advanced signal processing of the Spectra 250L ISP, the Redmi Note 7 Pro is more than just a handy camera that fits any pocket.

With a wide aperture of ƒ/1.79, the smartphone is able to produce great images. The app also allows users to enjoy features such as live portraits, live studio portraits, and much more. There is also a 5MP depth camera to create a bokeh effect.

In January of 2019, Xiaomi announced to make ‘Redmi’ an independent brand. The Redmi Note 7 Pro is the first phone from the independent Redmi brand to launch in India.

‘While the Redmi brand focuses on value-for-money budget smartphones, the Mi brand is focused on high-end devices. Also, the Redmi devices are primarily sold through e-commerce platforms, while Mi devices are not e-commerce focused,’ Jun said in a statement earlier.

‘Xiaomi shipped 11.7 million units and became the top brand in the Indian market with 27.3 per cent share in the third quarter of 2018,’ IDC reported.

Xiaomi is also planning to announce a Black Shark 2 gaming phone in China on March 18, which will be later launched in India.
