Xiaomi Introduces Redmi Y2 and MIUI 10 in India

Today, Xiaomi launched Redmi Y2, a new addition to its Y series. Along with MIUI 10 - it is the latest operating software introduces created for a great full-screen experience.

Redmi Y2 is being praised as the best selfie smartphone. The Xiaomi smartphone comes with an AI-powered 16MP front camera, which is powered by pixel binning technique and Xiaomi’s own AI Beautify functions.

Furthermore, Redmi Y2 come along with a 12MP + 5MP AI dual camera, 5.99-inch 18:9 full-Screen Display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 platforms.

MIUI 10: A Breath of Fresh Air

MIUI 10 - the new operating software by Xiaomi will enhance the user experience with new updates in design, speed, AI and sound. It is specially designed to support the full-screen experience on the smartphones. It is responsive and fast along with great ergonomics.

Users of MIUI 10-supported Xiaomi smartphones with single cameras will be happy to know that MIUI 10 will bring its famous AI Portrait photos to these devices. It also brings with it a completely new system of sounds. MIUI 10 has been customized keeping in mind its large user base in India.

Thus, MIUI 10 beta starts rolling out mid-June onwards, and stable versions will begin in September.

Redmi Y2 is launched in three colors: Gold, Rose gold and Dark grey. The 3GB + 32GB version of the smartphone will be available for Rs. 9,999, while the 4GB + 64GB version is valued at Rs. 12,999. Also, a simple, elegant TPU case will be shipped in the box with every Redmi Y2.

Redmi Y2 goes on sale on 12th June from 12 PM onwards. The smartphone would be available on Amazon, the official website of Mi and Mi Home stores across the country. It will also be available across offline partners at a later date.
