Xiaomi Has Released a Mini-PC with Windows 11 with a Look Reminiscent of the Apple Mac Mini

Along with the release of the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro smartphones, Xiaomi also unveiled several other devices

Along with the release of the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro smartphones, Xiaomi also unveiled several other devices. In addition to the Xiaomi Mini PC, other new products were unveiled at the launch event in China. The Xiaomi Watch S2, Xiaomi Buds 4, Xiaomi Sound Pro, and Xiaomi Router 10000.

A "compact mainstream performance desktop," the Xiaomi Mini PC weighs 437g. The system runs a 12-generation Core i5-1240P processor with a 4.4GHz maximum turbo frequency. Alongside it is Intel Iris Xe graphics (80EUs).

Specifications and Features

  • The latest Xiaomi computer is equipped with a 12-core, 16-thread heterogeneous Core i5 CPU from the 12th generation.
  • The Xiaomi Mini PC has 512GB PCle 4.0SSD storage that can be expanded to 4TB SSD ROM and 16GB DDR4 RAM that can be expanded up to 32GB of storage.
  • A sizable 4600 RPM fan and a dual heat pipe heat dissipation system are part of the Xiaomi Mini PC's heat management system. It controls the device's temperature.
  • The Xiaomi Mini PC is pre-loaded with Windows 11 and supports OpenWWRT, Ubuntu, UNRAID, and EXSI. Ports for attaching external graphics cards and hard drives, Bluetooth 5.3, and built-in Wi-Fi 6 capabilities are among the connectivity choices.
  • Xiaomi has released two versions of its Mini PC: the Standard Version, which costs RMB 3,999 (about Rs 47,000), and the Mini PC Storage-Free Version, which costs RMB 2,999. (Rs 35,500 approx).

The storage-free model will be sold through Xiaomi's official channels in China starting on 14 December, even though the standard edition is already on sale there.

The company introduced the first compact PC made by a Chinese business, the Xiaomi Mini PC, on Sunday. The news was made during the company's most recent launch event, debuting the Xiaomi Watch S2, Xiaomi Buds 4, and the company's flagship Xiaomi 13 series smartphones. A 12th Gen Core i5 CPU with a 12-core, 16-thread heterogeneous architecture and a maximum frequency of 4.4GHz is used in Xiaomi's most recent computer. The Xiaomi Mini PC has 16GB of RAM and will be offered in a model without storage.
