Xiaomi Finally Unveils the Black Shark 3S with Snapdragon 865+, 120hz Screen

After the launch of Asus ROG Phone 3 and Lenovo Legion gaming phone getting confirmation now it the turn of Xiaomi. The gaming division of Xiaomi called the Black Shark has finally confirmed the launch of the Black Shark 3 gaming phone in China on July 31st. If you remember the Black Shark 3 Pro was launched in March of 2020 along with Black Shark 3. Also, one thing to note is that this new Black Shark 3S is not an upgrade but rather a refresh on the Black Shark 3. The new Black Shark 3S maybe powered by the new Snapdragon 865 plus processor and compete with newly launched gaming smartphones.

Specifications of the Black Shark 3S: 

The Black Shark 3S will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 865 plus processor. The smartphone will support the latest 5G connectivity. The display will be an AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The size of the screen will be 6.67-inches. Black Shark 3S will partner with Tencent Games to give a more optimized gameplay experience to the users. In the previous Black Shark 3, there was support for 90Hz refresh rate. There is not a lot of information available for the smartphone as of now. The new Black Shark 3S might come to India after launching in China.

What is Black Shark?

Black Shark is the gaming division of Xiaomi. Like any gaming division, the Black Shark develops devices for Xiaomi that are great for gaming. Black Shark has been making devices for Xiaomi that compete with the Asus ROG Phones and other gaming phones. As the market for gaming smartphones increases, we can see Black Shark releasing more smartphones in more countries.
