The smartphone company is getting ready to introduce the Xiaomi 14 Ultra after releasing the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro in China. Digital chat Weibo Tipster suggests that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will have a quad-camera setup similar to the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, where all four cameras are 50MP. Unlike Xiaomi 13 Ultra's dual aperture of f/1.9 and f/4.0, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is said to support adjustable aperture. The apertures of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra main camera can vary from f/1.6 to f/4.0.  

The leak shows that the original focal lengths of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be 0.5x, 3.2x and 5x. If the leak is accurate, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to bring significant camera improvements over its predecessor. No other details about the upcoming Xiaomi 14 Ultra have been released so far.

Specifications of Xiaomi 14 Ultra (Expected) 

The company has not revealed an exact release date, but the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to launch in China in March 2024. Additionally, the specifications listed below are based on several leaks and speculations that have appeared over the past few months. 

Display: The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED 2K display with 120Hz refresh rate and slim bezels.

Chipset: Xiaomi 14 Ultra uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset like other Xiaomi 14 models. 

Rear Camera: The phone's camera setup may include a 50-megapixel OIS primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens and a fourth camera with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT900 sensor. 

Selfie Camera: The upcoming smartphone is expected to have a 32-megapixel front camera. 

Storage: The Xiaomi 14 Ultra can offer either 12GB or 16GB memory configurations or storage options from 256GB to 1TB.

OS: The phone is expected to run on HyperOS based on Android 14 just like other Xiaomi 14 phones. 

Battery: The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is likely to be equipped with a 5500mAh battery.
