Vivo X60 Pro+ is the premium flagship offering from Vivo. The phone looks quite promising by its specifications and the features that it packs. However, the prize can be a game-changer. With the OnePlus 9 Pro announced earlier this week, the competition has become very stiff.
We will let you judge the phone and its pricing after highlighting the key features of the phone and what new it brings to the table. The phone was announced earlier in 2021 and can finally be pre-booked in India.
BODY
The phone comes with a glass front and eco-leather back that provides a premium feel when held. The frame of the phone is made with aluminium to keep the weight of the phone in check. The phone weighs 191 grams which makes it easy to carry around without feeling bulky. The Vivo X60 Pro+ comes with a dual-sim tray with Nano-SIM and dual standby.
DISPLAY
The Vivo X60 Pro+ comes with a Super AMOLED display with a 120-Hertz refresh rate. The 6.56-inch display has an HDR10+ quality. The 1300-nits brightness makes the screen vibrant and easy to look at under sunlight. The resolution of the screen is 1080 x 2376 pixels with 398 PPI density.
Operating System and Chipset
The Vivo X60 Pro+ runs on the Funtouch 11.1 OS based on the Android 11. The chipset used in the phone is the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 which is based on the 5 nm technology. The octa-core CPU can run any program smoothly and the Adreno 660 GPU can deliver a good performance in games as well.
STORAGE AND MEMORY
There is no memory card slot on the phone, but it comes in 2 storage variants:
- 128 GB storage with 8 GB RAM
- 256 GB storage with 12 GB RAM
The UFS 3.1 storage is fast and data transfers would not take much time.
CAMERA AND OPTICS
The Vivo X60 Pro+ houses a quad-camera setup. The primary lens is a 50-megapixel shooter with an f1/6 aperture. The ultrawide camera is a 48-megapixel shooter with a 140-degree range allowing you to take good wide shots. There is an 8-megapixel periscope telephoto lens and with a 5x optical zoom and a 32-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom.
The selfie camera is a 32-megapixel shooter with an f2/5 aperture with HDR features. The main camera can shoot videos in 8K at 30fps, 4K at 30/60fps and 1080p at 30/60fps. The selfie camera can shoot videos in 4K at 30fps and 1080p at 30fps.
OTHER FEATURES AND BATTERY
Additional features on the Vivo X60 Pro+ include an in-display fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, colour spectrum. The battery is 4,200 mAh and comes with 55W fast charging.
COLOUR VARIANTS AND PRICE
The phone comes in 2 colour variants- Orange, Emperor Blue. The price of the phone in India is Rs 69,990 for the 12 GB + 256 GB variant. The phone can be pre-booked currently till 1 April 2021.
