At CES 2016, Audio-Technica introduces its AT-LP60-BT Wireless Turntable, which enables listening to records using Bluetooth wireless technology. The fully automatic AT-LP60-BT provides vinyl playback through compatible Bluetooth wireless speakers, headphones, A/V receivers or other wireless playback devices.
The AT-LP60-BT features completely automatic operation – just push the play button and the turntable does the rest, placing the stylus down at the beginning of the record and lifting up and returning the arm to rest when the side is over. The AT-LP60-BT remembers up to eight wireless devices at one time for ready pairing with the listener’s favorite audio sources.
A 33-1/3 and 45 RPM speed selector enables playback of vinyl formats from LP albums to 12-inch and 7-inch singles. The AT-LP60-BT is designed to deliver outstanding sound, with a heavy-duty precision cast aluminum platter, a high-quality Audio-Technica Dual Moving Magnet stereo cartridge with replaceable stylus, and a pickup arm with soft damping control and an arm lift.
The AT-LP60-BT includes a built-in switchable phono preamp and offers wired as well as wireless connectivity, enabling the turntable to be used with a wide variety of music and home entertainment systems, powered speakers, and A/V receivers that do not have Bluetooth connectivity or include a dedicated phono input. The AT-LP60-BT comes with standard RCA output cables, a 45 RPM adapter and a removable dust cover.
The Audio-Technica AT-LP60-BT Wireless Turntable will be available in a choice of black (AT-LP60BK-BT), white (AT-LP60WH-BT) and navy (AT-LP60NV-BT) in January 2016 at a suggested retail price of US$179.95.
