Yesterday Riot finally released the gameplay footage for Valorant, formerly known as Project A. It is one of the new games they have released since their inception, among others. Ahead of beta testing, they have released the Valorant system requirements. Riot had said that they have optimised the game so that even a decade old PC would be able to run it. And it seems like they weren’t exaggerating:
Minimum (30 fps):
OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit)
RAM: 4GB
CPU: Intel i3-370M
GPU: Intel HD 3000
Recommended (60 fps):
OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit)
RAM: 4GB
CPU: Intel i3-370M
GPU: Nvidia GT 730
High-end (144+ fps):
OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit)
RAM: 4GB
CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2Ghz
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti
From the looks of it, even entry level PCs by today’s standards will be able to run the game at 144 fps. Budget gamers finally have something to look forward to.
