Valorant is probably the only game that has been able to end the reign of CS: GO. Made by Riot Games, Valorant has taken the world by the storm and for a good reason. The game has made a gigantic impact in the world of esports and PC gaming in general. It was almost as if Valorant was made for esports. #1 Map Awareness

When it comes to games like Valorant and CS: GO learning the different maps can give you a huge advantage when you're new to the game. Every Pro player of Valorant will tell you that knowing the layout of the map is helps them decide which gun to use. Each map of Valorant is different and requires players to tweak their playstyle. If you already know the map then you will be able to predict better where the enemy team will approach from and you can defend that position.

#2 Avoid Operator

This is something that many players need to understand about Valorant. Many players make the mistake of buying the operator sniper just for the cool factor of it. Operator is a deadly weapon no doubt about it but only in the hands of someone who can use it. Unless your sniping skills are at a good level you should avoid using Operator in intense matches.

#3 Headshots vs Bodyshots

There is no debate over which of the two is more powerful but rather on what's achievable. There will be times when you will need to make the choice between taking headshots or bodyshots. If you're still in the early stages of playing and still mastering your aim and recoil control then take any shot you can. However, for more seasoned players we would recommend going for bodyshots if headshots are not happening that day. A headshot doesn't guarantee a kill every time but three bullets from the vandal to the body do.

Before you play the game just jump into practice mode to get your hand accustomed to the keys and recoil before the match begins. You don't need to practice for hours but even a ten-minute session will take your aim skills to another level.

#5 Hold Your Angles

This is the last tip for this Valorant game guide and a tip that can save your match. When you play against seasoned players you will notice that they will "Camp" in an area and basically anyone who comes through that area gets shot immediately. This is a common tactic known as holding. It originated in CS: GO and now is the new normal at Valorant. This is something that your team needs to practice a lot but once you get the hang of it you will be unstoppable. This is one of the big reasons why knowing the layout of the map is important.
