Dead Space Remake

EA and Motive Studios are working on a remake of one of the finest horror games of all time, Dead Space, which will be released on 27 January on Xbox Series X. The legendary sci-fi game is being recreated from the bottom up to instill nightmares in a new generation of players. What we've seen thus far is quite good, so this will be one to keep an eye on in the next year.

Hogwarts Legacy

Hogwart Legacy is an open-world action RPG based on the lore of the Harry Potter novels that aims to allow fans to attend the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for themselves. However, it is set in the 1800s, many hundred years before Harry and his friends enroll, so there will be magic to uncover. You are a student at Hogwarts with a special connection to Ancient Magic. You'll be able to make alliances, confront Dark wizards, and much more in Hogwarts Legacy.

Skull and Bones

After nearly a decade in development at Ubisoft Singapore, Skull & Bones is now ready to sail. This tactical action game will allow you to captain your pirate ship, fully customise its appearance and outfit its offensive and defensive capabilities. The game's name here is micromanagement, as you'll need your ship to be a perfectly tuned machine as you explore the Indian Ocean and combat other players over Disputed Waters.

Wild Hearts

Date of release: 17 February 2023

Following the success of Monster Hunter World, it is only natural for other publishers to be interested in hunting games. EA will be the first to make a significant push into the Monster Hunter franchise, and it has teamed up with Dynasty Warriors creator Omega Force to do it. We're excited to see more of Wild Hearts in the coming months, thanks to its clean visual presentation, three-player co-op, and stunning sandboxes.

Dead Island 2

Dead Island 2 is officially on the road, with a teaser debuting at Gamescom Opening Night Live that has finally resurrected the zombie-fest for a sequel. Set in downtown Los Angeles and featuring plenty of gore, Dead Island 2 is touted to be all about experimenting with how you wish to take on your zombie adversaries. Based on our initial impressions, it is promising.
