Battle Royales have been the most popular genre of video games for quite a while and it seems like their popularity won’t dwindle any time soon thanks for the most part to new BR games being released by gaming studios. There is now another upcoming Battle Royale which has been developed by Ubisoft, called Hyperscape.
But Hyperscape won’t be your run of the mill BR. It will have “never seen levels” integration with Twitch according to esports journalist Rod Breslau. Apparently, Twitch chat will have an effect on the in game events and mechanics of the game.
Hyperscape will release on July 12th for PC and consoles, however, the Beta will go live on July 2nd. There is no word on whether the game will have crossplay enabled. It is being developed by Ubisoft Montreal and will be a fast paced FPS set in the future.
