PUBG mobile features a number of assault rifles for players to choose from. Some of these are available as loots and some are drop exclusive. However, every gun is different and does different levels of damage to the enemy. So what are some of the best assault rifles that players can use for faster kills, better control and different combat styles.?

#1 M416

It is one of the most sought-after guns in PUBG Mobile. This gun is one of the lesser guns in the game that is good for close combats, mid-range as well as long-range fights. The 5.56 mm bullet using gun does 40% damage to the enemy and this number increases if a player connects headshots. The gun works best with Compensator, Vertical Foregrip, Extended Quickdraw Mag and Tactical Stock attached to it. Choosing a scope to use with the gun is completely the players' choice but since it is a versatile gun, the ideal scope would be a 6x with canted sight. The 6x can be moderated to 3x if the need be which will be effective in mid and long-range fights and the canted sight will help in close combat situations.

#2 AKM

This gun takes the design inspiration from the iconic rifle AK47. The gun is a great option for close combat fights and is highly effective in that. Hit damage done by this gun is 49, and it fires 7.62 mm bullets which is significantly higher than the guns that fire 5.56 mm bullets. The ideal attachments that players should go for on this weapon are Suppressor, Extended QuickDraw Mag and Red-dot or Holographic Sight. It can be used with bigger scopes like 2x and 3x as well but one has to use it in a single-mode as the recoil on the gun is on the higher side. A major con of using this gun in mid-range or long-range combats is that players can not move and shoot with this as it becomes difficult to control the movement and the recoil of the gun. Standing in one place while spraying down the enemy puts in a bigger risk of being shot at and get killed.

#3 Beryl M762

One of the most powerful assault rifles in the game, Beryl can do hit damage of 46 which is very effective and impressive in close combats and since the damage only increases with headshots, players can also put a scope on it and use as a sniper substitute until they are able to attain one. However, this gun has one of the highest recoils in the game, and it is best to be used in close-combat situations. There is no good way to nullify the recoil, but it can be controlled with the help of attachments like Suppressor and Vertical Foregrip. Adding Extended Quickdraw lets you shoot more rounds of bullets at the enemy and a Red-dot or Holographic Sight will enable you to fire at the enemy in an easier way.  The gun might not be as versatile as the previous two but is still a very effective weapon in PUBGm.

#4 AUG A3

This is a drop-exclusive gun that can only be obtained by looting airdrops or flare drops. The assault rifle fires 5.56 mm bullets and does a damage of 41. This weapon comes with a 30-round magazine and does not need a lot of attachments to be effective. The best part about this weapon is that it has one of the least recoils in the game making it easier for the players in possession of this gun to spray down enemies from a distance while maintaining their movement. However, you need to keep in mind that the reload time on this weapon is a little on the higher side so if you do not have an Extended Quickdraw Mag to your disposal then you can pass on this weapon.

#5 Groza

Another drop-exclusive gun that has the ability to pit your teammates against you and make them race you to the drop just for this gun. This is a game-changer gun which is highly effective especially in the end circles of the game. Just put on a Suppressor and a scope, you are good to go. The gun is lethal and has a damage of 49. You can spray down enemies with this gun and even if you have a decent aim and gun-control, be sure to get a knock or a kill. It also doesn't restrict your movements as it is a lightweight gun and doesn't slow you down while sprinting or rushing.
