SolarWinds NetFlow is the winner

Currently, SolarWinds NetFlow has a strong hold in the market, but it may face stiff competition in the future.

The rising popularity of digital technologies and Internet-enabled devices has emerged as a key catalyst for India's growth. With an increasing number of people gaining online access in the country, businesses and organizations are prioritizing investments in network bandwidth management software to effectively manage heightened traffic and demand on their networks.

According to MordorIntelligence research, the network bandwidth management software market in India is expected to expand at a CAGR of 12.2% during the forecast period (2021-2026).

Solarwinds NetFlow achieved an outstanding score of 100% in our Familiarity Index, with Paessler PRTG coming in a close second at 78%. ManageEngine NetFlow achieved a respectable 57%, followed by NetWorx at 54% and Ntopng at 46%.

Four out of five users would consider SolarWinds NetFlow when selecting their next bandwidth management and optimization software.

According to our Spontaneous Awareness research, Solarwinds NetFlow received the highest score at 92%, followed by Paessler PRTG with a score of 79%. Surprisingly, NetWorx surpassed expectations and came in third place as the most recognized brand with a score of 62%, while ManageEngine NetFlow received a score of 56% and Ntopng had a score of 54%.

SolarWinds NetFlow dominates the market, holding a significant lead at 44% for the currently used software solution. Paessler PRTG is a close runner-up with 28%. In contrast, ManageEngine NetFlow garnered only 10% of the market share while both NetWorx and Ntopng achieved just 5%.

The road ahead looks challenging for all of these brands. According to the survey, Solarwinds NetFlow emerged as the victor in this category with 82% of respondents indicating their intention to stick with it in future. However, the tide may turn for other players who may not currently hold a strong market share but are potential contenders in the near term. Paessler PRTG (67%), ManageEngine NetFlow (64%) and NetWorx (62%) ranked closely within each other's reach, while Ntopng also put up a good showing with a score of 51%.

Let's explore the reasoning behind the brand selections. SolarWinds NetFlow was favored for its reputation and top-notch solution quality; Paessler PRTG stood out for its strong brand recognition. Meanwhile, ManageEngine NetFlow caught respondent’s attention with their excellent post-sale support/services, and NetWorx was chosen due to its competitive pricing. Lastly, Ntopng was selected because of the high-quality solutions.
