How to send stickers in WhatsApp

Aiming to give users an additional way to express themselves, WhatsApp in late 2018 introduced Stickers in its app. With time Stickers have now evolved as a fully-fledged feature within the app, allowing you to send a weird, wonderful, and cute image to your friends and family in private and group chats.

And similar to sending GIFs or emoji, the Stickers in the instant messaging platform could feel like they are hidden meaning you would not instantly know that how you can do it. Thus, to help you find and use Stickers easily, here in this article we will tell you how to send stickers on the app.

If you haven’t updated your WhatsApp to the latest version, we recommend you to do that first. Also, Stickers work differently in an iPhone and in Android. Also if you haven’t used them earlier, you need to download them first. You can do that by pressing the plus symbol to the right which will greet you with a pack of stickers.

How to send stickers on WhatsApp on Android

Open WhatsApp and then click on the chat you want to send a sticker to.

Tap emoji face icon then tap the sticker icon (present right of the GIF icon)

Scroll to browse stickers and then choose the one you want, which will be sent immdediately.

How to send stickers on WhatsApp on iPhone

Click to open WhatsApp then select the chat you want to send a sticker to. Tap sticker icon (which is present next to emoji icon)

Scroll to browse stickers and then select the one you want. The app will send the selected sticker immediately.
