Samsung Galaxy Note 20 lets you run apps on your Windows 10 PC

Samsung announced Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Ultra smartphones with an interesting new feature that enables you to run mobile apps on your Windows 10 PC. Last year, Samsung and Microsoft announced their partnership to help Android and Windows work better together. At the Galaxy Unpacked, Samsung and Microsoft revealed the new integrations between their two ecosystems.

The new integration enables Note 20 and Ultra users to run apps from your Galaxy Note 20 on your Windows 10 PC. In the GIF, shown below you can see WhatsApp and Instagram side by side running on a Windows PC.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 lets you run apps on your Windows 10 PC Right now only one app will run at a time on your PC, however, Microsoft announced that later in November you will be able to run multiple apps. You will also be able to pin apps to your Windows taskbar or Start menu for easy access.

Samsung and Microsoft are working together to sync more apps between the devices such as Microsoft 365 suite. The Samsung Notes app will be able to sync with OneNote app and with your OneNote feed in Outlook on the web, for example. Microsoft says this feature is “coming soon.” And Samsung Reminders will be able to sync across Microsoft To Do, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
