The phone is available at Rs 27,999 with power-packed hardware. The phone has top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor in combination with 6 GB and 8 GB RAM. It has pop-up selfie camera and triple AI camera at the back.
Build quality
Almost every flagship device has a borderless design, Xiaomi targets the same by using pop-up selfie camera, enabling 91.9 per cent screen-to-body ratio. K20 Pro holds 6.39 inches AMOLED display with FHD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution.
The AMOLED screen is quite bright and sharp, enabling to use the phone in bight days without any issue. It offers wide viewing angles to share the screen with your friends and family. It also sports 7th generation in-screen fingerprint sensor which is quite fast and easy to reach.
Redmi K20 Pro uses Corning Gorilla Glass 5 at both ends – front and back. It protects the device from scratches, but prone to attract smudges. The rear design has a dark finish in the centre and transitions in blue colour on the sides. It enhances the overall design ethics of the phone and gives a premium look and feel.

Primary – 48 MP Sony IMX586 sensor with an f/1.75 aperture and 1.6 micron pixels

The K20 Pro clicks photos with a good amount of details in daylight. The phone detects the object quickly while shooting as well as focuses swiftly on the subject to capture good depth effect.
The triple phone captures beautiful shots balanced with details and vibrant colours. The camera is quite snappy, and with HDR mode it further enhances details.
The 20 MP pop-up selfie camera takes good selfies and exposes subjects properly. It captures a good amount of details with natural colour tone. The pop-up has LEDs that light up when it rises, which looks cool. These LEDs can be turned off using the camera setting.

Redmi K20 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC having eight CPU cores and is based on a 7nm manufacturing process. The mobile device runs on MIUI 10 on top of Android 9 Pie. MIUI lets you customise the look of the UI as per your taste. Youcan can ditch navigation buttons and use gesture navigation. It also has a dark mode that saves power as well as easy on your eyes while using the phone at night.
The phone has a few pre-installed apps including games like Ludo Master and Block Puzzle Guardian, as well as Facebook, Dailyhunt, Amazon, Google Duo, Paytm, and WPS Office. There are also several Xiaomi apps such as Mi Community, Mi Music, Mi Video, Mi Pay, Mi Store, and a Security app.
The in-display fingerprint scanner is quick to unlock the smartphone. While using the face unlock, the selfie camera module pops up to scan your face.
The Redmi k20 Pro runs smoothly and can handle various app simultaneously. We stuffed the phone with multiple apps and games including, Outlook, MS-Office, Call of the Duty, Asphalt 9, Mortal Combat etc..
When playing games like Asphalt and Mortal combat, the phone managed them smoothly. But with games like PUBG and Call of Duty, we noticed a little lag in the graphics.
The Redmi K20 Pro comes with Game Boost 2.0 to enhance the gaming performance. We activated the game boost and this enhances the touch response and visuals by making darker areas brighter in games.
The Redmi K20 Pro is powered with a 4,000 mAh battery. The battery can run for more than one day in one full charge with moderate usage. And with power users and gamers, it can be for one day.
When playing games, the phone stayed for 4 hours and 26 minutes. In our video loop test, K20 Pro was able to stay for 19 hours 17 minutes while playing HD video over YouTube with full brightness and volume.
