Krypton3 is a new addition to the smartphone lineup of Videocon. The 4G Volt network enabled phone comes with a free 6 months subscription of ErosNow where you can watch an unlimited number of songs and Videos, which could be an attractive package for consumers.
The 5-inch phone is packed in a royal blue colored back panel with golden rim across the screen panel enhancing its overall looks. Though the durable plastic body looks cool and stylish, but it attracts smudges. Thankfully, it’s not prone to scratches.
Good screen
The smartphone comes with 5.0 inch HD IPS display (1280x720 Resolution) including 16M vibrant colors, protected by the Dragontrail glass. The screen to body ratio has been optimized smartly, which makes the device comfortable while operating even with one hand. You can easily use the smartphone in the direct sunlight as it has the brightness LUX valve of 468. Its screen produces good colors and has 178 degrees viewing angles that let you share the screen with friends and family.
Nice camera
At the rear, it is equipped with 13 MP pixel camera with a dual-led flash. It supports Smart wide dynamic range (SWDR) and Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) to capture decent images in daylight conditions.
Low light images look grainy but the dual-LED flash can be helpful to click decent images even in the dark. The camera captures natural toned image where colors look good.
The front 5 MP shooter is good to click selfies, even in low light as it also has LED flash in front.
Performance
Videocon Krypton3 is packed with Quad core processor clocking at 1.3GHz Processor which is paired with 2 GB of RAM. The phone runs on android marshmallow version 6.0. It comes with 32 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 64 GB. It runs smoothly without any lag. We played some games and switched between apps, but didn’t notice any performance lag.
Battery life
The Smartphone is packed with 3000 mAh battery that can last for the whole day depending on your usage. In our video test, it lasted for 3 hours and 36 minutes while playing video over YouTube with full brightness and volume.
