Strontium NITRO OTG card reader comes with 32 GB class 10 microSD card. This combination enables you to store huge data on your smartphone or tablet. It has one USB 2.0, microSUB ports and microSD slot that supports up to 32 GB. We received the microSD card with the review unit, as the package include both.
The company claims that the drive is waterproof, magnetprof, x-rayproof and temperature proof. It's pretty looks doesn't make you believe, but it was working fine even after testing its waterproof ability. The additional storage space can be used to store music, full high-definition videos, high-resolution photos and games in a tiny body. The class 10 HC-1 microSD card that supports up to 70 mb/s transfer speed. Additionally, the drive comes with a full version android app MyBackup pro that allows you to create the backup of your important mobile data.
The tiny OTG can be used with any OTG support smartphone or tablet. The USB 2.0 ports lets you transfer files from the drive to PC. Though we were missing USB 3.0 in this, yet the drive resulted with satisfactory results in our test.
Using the drive on our test bed, it took 5 minutes and 24 seconds to transfer assorted data of 3.3 GB of data from PC to drive, and 3 minutes and 36 seconds to transfer same data from drive to PC. While transferring the same data from drive to the smartphone it took about 5 minutes and 25 seconds and from smartphone to drive 6 minutes and 50 seconds. While using the benchmarks, it resulted with 18.53 mb/s read and 16.03 mb/s write speed on Crystal disk mark. And HDtune pro it delivered maximum read speed of 18.2 mb/s and minimum 0.2 mb/s.
