The slate form factor smartphone comes with super bright display — Ashok Pandey
Salora Arya Z2 is a slate form factor smartphone bundled with quality hardware and 5-inch HD display with 1280X720p resolution. The OGS (one glass solution) based display produces rich colors. The bright screen allows you to play with the phone even in direct sunlight, and makes screen sharing easy, thanks to its wide viewing angles. It gets perfect balance in screen height and width that makes it so handy. The slate form factor allows you to operate the device with only one hand. The back cover gets matte finish that attracts smudges a little, but thankfully not the scratches.
The Arya Z2 is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core CPU, 1 GB RAM, 4 GB ROM and supports 32 GB microSD card. It runs on Android KitKat 4.4 OS with a little interface customization. Z2 runs smoothly while doing multitasking or playing heavy games, but heats up during heavy operations.
The Z2 boasts 2 MP front camera, interpolated to 5 MP, claiming an image quality of 5 MP camera. Surprisingly, it’s a only decent 2 MP camera for selfies and video chats. The rear 8 MP camera allows you to click quality images in daylight. Though, it is also interpolated to 13 MP, but considering only 8 MP camera, it’s producing detailed images with rich color reproduction.
It has an 1800 mAh battery that lasts for 8 hours and during the battery test, lasted for 3 hr 10 min while playing video in full brightness and sound. Also, it performed well in benchmark testing and scored AnTuTu: 17307, Quadrant: 6970 Vellamo: 1880 and 3DMark: 2848.
