Performance
The review unit we received was powered by 4th generation 3.3 GHz Core i5 processors, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB SATA HDD and runs on Windows 7. With the basic productivity apps, it runs very smoothly. Also, as it has integrated Intel HD graphics 2500, so you can run some games and applications that need graphics but don't expect much as it can't support graphic intensive games. The machine is suited for light graphics work.
We ran benchmarks to check the ability to perform a series of multimedia and media tasks. In PC Mark 8 test suite that includes web browsing, photo editing, video editing, gaming it scored 2750. In 3D Mark 8 that tests the graphics capability, it scored P1006. Being an entry level PC aimed at users who are looking to do basic work such as MS office, watching videos, the scores are pretty good.
In our real world testing, we were able to see a little lag in the performance, when we ran two browsers, Firefox, and Chrome simultaneously. While running basic apps there was no lag in the performance, but running multiple apps and browsers affected the PC performance.
