Elegant Design and Bright Vibrant Display
The Moto X Play has a plastic back cover, with a rubbery finish that feels really good and grippy. It feels like a premium flagship phone. The company’s trademark at curvy back is a icing on the cake. The thin bezels on the side of the large screen means the Moto X Play doesn't feel too bulky in hand, and as we use it, the Moto X Play felt increasingly comfortable.
The 5.5-inch screen is a full 1080p high definition, giving the Moto X Play 401 ppi pixel density.The display is bright and vibrant. We were amazed to see the touch sensitivity of screen.The brightness level of the smartphone is 490 LUX.
Processor and Performance
It also showed that the Moto X Play, with a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa-core CPU, Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM, works well in multitasking or playing heavy graphics intensive games like Asphalt 8 and dead trigger 2. Moto X Play offers pure Android and is completely customizable. The phone has no heating issues. Excellent 21 MP Camera and Huge Battery
The camera is one of the best features of this phone. A 21 MP main camera comes with f/2.0 aperture having features like face detect autofocus, dual-tone LED flash and gesture controls. It can capture 1080p video capture @ 30fps and also supports slow-motion video capture. The day light shots are perfect and give us every detail. The 5 MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture takes good images. Low light performance isn’t excellent by any means, but it is still decent.
One of the best selling points of the Moto X Play is its huge 3,630mAh battery, which Motorola promises will last two days on a single charge. The battery gives you a full day backup and to optimize it more you can use the power saver mode.
