Design and Features
Thin, flat and gorgeous, the LG's Super UHD TV certainly has killing looks. Even with the TV turned off, the EF9500 looks great. The 4K screen is packed in the ultra slim narrow border around the screen measuring just 0.33 inches.
Generally most TV's come with a black plastic panel at the back, but with LG UF9500 it is not the case. Instead it comes with a bright white finish giving it a premium and aesthetically pleasing appearance.
According to LG, the Auditorium Stand on which the TV rests uses reflection to boost sound from the down firing speakers for a more deeper audio experience. Unlike the curved panel a flat TV sure looks better when mounted on a wall.
The all new SUPER UHD series with ColorPrime technology features ULTRA Luminance, a 4K In-Plane Switching (IPS) panel and a Prime Mastering Engine to offer a truly premium, cinema-like experience. The ColorPrime technology allows a display to accurately render every color in the spectrum.

Its new Live Menu takes channel surfing to the next level by helping you find what to watch next while watching the current program.
Excellent Performance
To review the picture quality we fed the Super UHD TV with Full HD and 4K content. The LG’s ColorPrime technology delivers outstanding color performance, increasing color spectrum by upto 20% compared to conventional UHD TV's.
It is capable of producing more hues and shades and Super UHD Display makes images more realistic and vibrant. In terms of Black level also the TV does not let us down and came through very well in black and near-dark areas in movies like Gravity, Interstellar, Sin City: A dame to kill for and simply looked better than the others. We were surely impressed by the performance and amount of detail delivered on screen.
The IPS 4K Display of the Super UHD TV offers the most identical color impression with reduced color distortion. It also delivers consistent color from any angle.
The Ultra Luminance engine lets you experience darker scenes in brightness with higher peaks and enhanced contrast ratio for more vivid & realistic images.
In movies like The Epic, Hugo, Mad Max: Fury Road, the 3D rendered by TV is flicker free, excellently pops up on screen giving you a theatre like feel and experience at home and is easy on eyes. The 3D glasses are polarized, light, battery-free, hassle-free and are larger in size than conventional glasses, allowing for greater viewing comfort and convenience.
The LG 4K Super UHD TV is equipped with 4.2 Channel Surround Sound designed by Harmon Kardon that producing a 60W sound output from the down firing speakers. You won't need to invest in an external speaker or a sound bar with this TV as the audio delivered is powerful, louder and dynamic and pushes deeper bass whenever required.
The new Magic Motion Remote is redesigned and with the adoption of number keys is larger than before and helps in easy switching along with simpler connectivity options.
The remote provides a comfortable fit in hand and can also perfectly acts as a universal remote for easy control of the set top box, Blu-ray player, sound bar & home theatres without the hassles of handling multiple remote.
Just like earlier it retains Point and Click feature along with Wheel and Voice Recognition, that allows for extremely easy use and navigation of the Smart TV.
