SSD Review
The 2.5-inch Kingston Hyperx Fury 240 GB SSD is built around a SandForce SF-2281 controller with SATA Rev 3.0 (6Gb/s) performance and Kingston’s own MLC NAND. This combination makes the drive a great performer in terms of transfer rate and system boot up time at a competitive price point.

With solid build quality, the 7 mm thick SSD has 240 GB capacity in which 223 GB is available to the user. Its 2.5-inch form factor makes it usable in both PC and laptop. The super fast SSD delivers impressive boot-up speed of 12 seconds only. It is two times faster in comparison to HHD. HyperX FURY solid-state drive not only enhances the system boot up time, but also increases application loading and file execution plus faster map and levels load time.

The company claims read and write speed of the SSD 560 MB/s. Although it didn’t reach that level, yet it performed well in our tests. Using our test bed (Intel Core i5 CPU, 4X2 Kingston DDR3 RAM, Windows 10 OS and Cooler Master 350 Plus), the 240 GB SSD gave 46.2 MB/s read and 44.8 MB/s write speed while transferring assorted data of 10 GB. Running the benchmarks, it performed well on both Crystal Disk Mark 470.8 MB/s read and 226.1 MB/s write speed, and with HD Tune Pro, it delivered maximum and minimum read speeds of 357.3 MB/s and 261.2 MB/s respectively.
