Creative SoundBlaster Roar Bluetooth Speaker

The Creative SoundBlaster roar has both the look and feel of a premium wireless speaker and is a winner of Red Dot award for design. Housed in an aluminium chassis the speaker feels sturdy. It has got a silicon casing at top and bottom that houses buttons and connectivity options. The top houses physical buttons for power, roar, volume and bluetooth. Other connectivity options like USB, micro-SD, Aux-in and tera bass are located at bottom. It also has NFC connectivity and it will appeal to high-end buyers.

The recording controls on the speaker allows you to record and save the audio or voice calls in a micro-SD card. The integrated easy to access music controls works with micro-SD card.

Great Sound Signature

Pairing the speaker with an iPhone 5s was quick and simple, and it is also NFC-enabled for easy pairing with compatible devices. To review the performance we fed the speaker with various mix of tracks and it demanded appreciation all around. On tracks with powerful bass content the SoundBlaster Roar delivers rumbling bass with good amount of depth. The presence of radiator elevates the sound quality. Vocals were delivered with rich presence in both lows and highs.

When listening to classical tracks at moderate-to-high volumes, the bass response brings out the lower register instruments a bit more, making the track sound fuller. When we played the speaker at unsafe volume levels, it sounded pretty loud but at times bass sounded flat. Pressing the Roar button, the speaker instantly boosts the loudness. It takes 3-4 hours to charge the speaker and delivers 8-9 hours of music playback.
