Canon PowerShot G1 X Mark III Review: Performance
G1X Mark III is small in size but not in the performance. It captures superb quality images without blowing the details and colors. Using the auto mode, even a kid can capture decent quality images. It manages the white balance and color reproduction as well. The RAW mode is there for any rare occasion, shoot and process the raw image later. It has an APS-C sensor that offers a bit more resolution and lowers the noise.
It also has great optical image stabilization, you could get sharp images even at lower shutter speed. Meaning you can shoot without any problem in low light conditions.
The 24-megapixel CMOS sensor captures very attractive colors even at moderate ISO settings. Using the camera at ISO 800, it captures quality image with some visible noise. Raising the ISO to 3200 we were able to see the noise. Going even further, ISO 6400, the shots come suffering with color saturation.
