Keeping in mind the needs of the SOHOs, the MAXIFY range caters to high volume printing requirements with a duty cycle of upto 30,000 prints per month. For business with extensive printing needs, the MAXIFY MB5370 & iB4070 inkjet printers are equipped with two 250-sheet paper cassettes. For organizations with moderate printing volumes, the MAXIFY MB5070 accomplishes their needs with a single 250-sheet cassette.
Design and Features
The MFP looks good in its all black matte finish chassis and does not have a larger footprint. It has a 3 line LCD control panel along with essential controls like power, home, back buttons and walk-up copying button at the side of LCD screen. At the back the MFP is home to LAN, Fax, USB port. MAXIFY Printing Solutions (MPS) app compatible with iOS and Android OS platforms allows printing of PDF, images and other office formats from mobile devices. Scanning is also possible with the MPS app.
Good Performance
Setting and installing the printer is easy with both wired or wireless connectivity. It printed 21 A4 B/W and 13 A4 color pages in minute with first page out in just 7 seconds. The print quality is excellent and the text looked sharp. Photo print quality is also decent and it delivered good color accuracy. The prints did not wash out even when we dropped some amount of water. It copied 9 A4 B/W and 7 A4 color pages in a minute having good quality. You can take maximum of 99 copies at a time. The built-in twin scanner sensors allow double-sided documents to be scanned in a single paper pass, reducing the time taken for duplex scanning .
The printer is also equipped with business features like Settings Restrictions and Operation Restrictions. Settings Restrictions lets you set an admin password on your network and device so that unauthorized personnel can't gain access to the device. On the other hand, Operation Restrictions lets you set some rules on what the users can or can’t do on the printer .For example, you can specify that document copies are always made in black-and-white mode, or limit printing from or scanning to a USB memory stick thus helps in managing printing costs.
