Blaupunkt (BLA49AU680) 4K Smart LED TV Review

Recently, Blaupunkt, German consumer electronics brand, announces three futuristic series and eight smart TV models equipped with cutting-edge features. Though Blaupunkt is new in the Indian market, yet they tried to append various interesting features to attract consumers such as bombastic sound quality with Soundbar, AI-based Hybrid Launcher, Voice-recognition smart remote, etc.

Look and Feel

At first glance, it grabs your eyes with great design and the front sound bar fixed at the bottom panel. It raises the TV height a bit, yet clearly definable to have some extra to offer. The 50-inch screen has a thin profile with quite slim, yet visible bezels. Across the screen, it has a silver frame made of solid plastic adding more beauty to it.

At the back, it hosts a variety of ports including COAX, RJ45, two HDMI and two AV ports. Also, it supports wireless connectivity, meaning you can connect to your WiFi to watch YouTube videos and more.

The TV has 50-inches 4K UHD resolution screen delivering awesome picture quality. With the life-like clarity, the Blaupunkt (BLA49AU680) 4K offers real wide viewing angles allowing you to enjoy your favourite content from any angle. You can enjoy 4K videos, sports broadcasts and video games at a frame rate of 60 fps.

Outstanding performance

The 4K smart TV not only offers rich display quality, but it will also take your smart TV experience to another level. The TV runs on Android 5.1 with The customised UI that enables you to navigate the TV quite easily and offers lightning-fast Android experience. You can enjoy various contents on your big screen.

It comes with 8 GB of internal storage meaning you can add new videos and apps. As like smartphone you can enjoy several smart features with the TV, for instance, installing games from the app store, casting your smartphone screen on the big screen, watching videos from Yupp TV, Netflix or YouTube.

We used the TV for more than a month and watched HD TV channels, YouTube videos and played games etc. It handled every content smoothly even on Mira cast there was no visible lag in content sharing. The 3840 x 2160 Ultra HD - 4X screen resolution produces vibrant colours. We enjoyed UHD videos on it and while playing 4K content, it delivered awesome picture quality.

Amazing sound

The TV has a soundbar, located at the bottom that delivers amazing sound in various modes. The base was not up to the mark, and at the peak volume levels, we noticed glitches. It offers home theatre like experience and overall it’s a good sound treat, just not for bass lovers.

The Remote

The smart TV comes with two remote, in which one is standard and second one air mouse. Air mouse remote is small in size and packed with loads of features. The four-direction navigation buttons help you to easily access different applications and functions.
