True love for music can be fulfilled by a perfect headphone only. As technology has evolved and with plenty of R&D and hard work we have better audio gears to have the blast. We recently got a chance to use Beyerdynamic Beat Byrd in-Ear headphones. It is a wired headphone with well-balanced sound tuning and ergonomically shaped earbuds.
Build quality
The Beat BYRD is exquisitely designed, extra flat device with ergonomically shaped housing that ensures secure and snug fit in the ear. It looks pretty and can fit easily in different ear sizes. The outer shape is flat which makes it ideal when you are relaxing or sleeping.
The Beat Byrd headphones comes with three pairs of ear tips in the sizes S, M and L ensure the perfect fit for your ear. The silicone used to make the ear tips soft, silky and adapts perfectly to the auditory canal, thus allowing you to enjoy the best possible sound reproduction.
It has 1.2 (approx.) meters flexible cable which is pleasant to wear. Incidentally, it also limits cable noises to a minimum.
Performance
We used Beyerdynamic Beat Byrd in-Ear headphones for more than a month, and here what we feel about it. The in-ear headphones fit perfectly in ears and as we have already mentioned that it comes with 3 sets of replaceable ear tips so you can choose your perfect fit. The 18 ohms drivers deliver quality sound with balanced bass.
To test this in-ear headphone, we used test tracks: Angel of Mercy by Black Label Society, Stadium Arcadium, brutal bass drops, trance music and Bollywood romantic and dance songs. The Beyerdynamic Beat Byrd in-Ear headphones deliver a balanced sound and its frequency distribution is also well managed. On tracks with intense sub-bass content like Titanium by David Guetta which features dance club style beats, the headphone performed well pushing the appreciable amount of bass. Sia’s vocals were clearly audible in between the bass of this electric pop song.
The mids sound clear and warm and provide enough detailing to keep enjoy favourite music. At the highest volume, the headphone provides ample amount of loudness and at the same level, we found some amount of noise leakage too.
There is a no button for controlling the music playback, neither mic. This is built to enjoy the music only, however, vocals are quite clear.
