Jio Phone 5G smartphone could include a 6.5-inch HD+ display, Snapdragon 480, and a 13MP primary camera. At the 45th AGM, Reliance Industries announced that it is working with Alphabet Inc’s Google to introduce an ultra-affordable 5G phone in India very soon.

The company mentioned that it had laid out A $25 billion plan that has been rolled out for introducing the 5G network service within two months, said the company. Reliance Jio hasn’t said much about the said 5G phone except that it will be “ultra-affordable” and we speculate it will come bundled with a prepaid pack.

Jio 5G network services will first roll out in cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, and Mumbai by Diwali this year and pan India rollout by December 2023. The company says this will be the fastest rollout in the world. The telecom network has more than 420 million customers in the country currently.
