Redmi reveals Redmi Prime 10 smartphone and Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro

Redmi India has launched two products today - Redmi 10 Prime smartphone and Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro. Redmi 10 Prime is the first 50MP smartphone powered by the latest MediaTek Helio G88 chipset and 90Hz 6.5-inch FHD+ AdaptiveSync display. Redmi also introduced Earbuds 3 Pro TWS featuring the Qualcomm® QCC3040 Chipset with aptX™ Adaptive Audio Codec and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity.

Redmi 10 Prime

The main highlight of the smartphone is its 50 MP AI quad-camera setup. The phone boasts a 50 MP ultra-high-resolution main camera along with an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, a 2 MP macro camera, and a 2 MP depth sensor. It comes with the Night mode or Pro Colour mode to capture images in dark plus enhance the saturation as well. For the selfie freaks, Redmi 10 Prime comes packed with an 8 MP front camera. The smartphone also includes various camera filters to add flair to the photography & video shots. Additionally, it comes with an in-built editor.

Redmi 10 Prime has a 6.5-inch FHD+ screen that supports a 90Hz refresh rate AdaptiveSync technology. The AdaptiveSync technology recognizes the required frame rate as per the content to enhance the battery life by boosting the refresh rates only when needed. It also comes with reading mode 3.0 with paper texture, simulating the real paper to reduce eye strain.

Powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 processor, it features two Arm Cortex-A75 CPUs operating up to 2GHz and six Arm Cortex-A55 cores operating at up to 1.8GHz and paired with Mali G52 GPU for better graphics processing and gaming experience. The phone is available in two variants 4 and 6 GB RAM. Additionally, the RAM can be expanded to 1 and 2 GB respectively thanks to the Memory extension feature.

The smartphone is backed by a 6000 mAh battery in a very slim form factor that can last for two days. It supports 18W of fast charging and comes with a 22.5W charger out of the box. The phone runs on MIUI 12.5 software based on Android 11. The screen is protected by Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3 to prevent accidental scratches.

Redmi 10 Prime will be available in two variants - 4GB + 64GB (RAM expandable by 1GB) at INR 12499 and 6GB + 128GB at INR 14,499 (RAM expandable by 2GB).

Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro

The latest TWS Earbuds 3 Pro has a premium design with a glossy finish in a compact form factor. The TWS features a dual driver setup with a dynamic driver and balanced armature driver.

The Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro features the Qualcomm® QCC3040 Chipset with aptX™ Adaptive Audio Codec. It supports the latest Bluetooth 5.2 technology for high-definition wireless audio, faster pairing, and stable connectivity. For MIUI users, an automatic pop-up on the phone notifies them when the earbuds are out of the case and helps in quick pairing and connection. It also shows the battery levels of each bud and the case for a quick glance.

Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro offers up to 7 hours of use on a single charge and gets up to 30 hours of total playback time thanks to its 600mAh battery. The case supports Type-C fast charging and can quickly charge the case in around 3 hours and earbuds in about 1.5 hours.

Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro will be available at a starting price of INR 2999.
