The announcement and launch of the Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max took the market by storm. However, recent leaks show that there might be another phone coming out, the Redmi Note 10S.

The leaks throw light on some of the specifications of the phone.

The Redmi Note 10S is set to come out with a 6.43-inch FHD AMOLED display with a 60-Hertz refresh rate. This is very common to see in phones in this category. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 processor and the company is planning on branding it as a gaming phone. A gaming phone with a 60-Hertz display looks like a thing of past.

On the camera front, the Redmi Note 10S is supposed to have a quad-camera setup with the primary camera being a 64-megapixel shooter. Accompanying that there will be an 8-megapixel lens, probably ultrawide and two 2 megapixel sensors for macro and depth. This has become the new normal for camera modules and the performance would only differ based on the software and AI. The selfie camera will be a 13-megapixel shooter allowing users to have clear images. The performance, however, is yet to be determined.

The battery on the phone comes with the capacity of 50000mAh along with a 33W charger in the box that can charge it up fast. The phone runs on the MIUI 12.5 on top of Android 11, and it will receive software updates in the future.

The pricing of the phone is yet to be disclosed. Not to forget that these are the leaks and even though the source is credible, there is a good chance of the actual phone being slightly different.
