Realme is finally bringing the X3 and the X3 superzoom in India. Realme has confirmed that both of the smartphones will be 4G flagships in India. Realme first introduced the X3 and the X3 superzoom in the European markets and now they are bringing both of them in India. The launch event of the smartphones will be done with a Livestream due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The launch event will take place on June 25 at 12:30 PM on the official twitter, youtube, and Facebook accounts of the company.
Realme X3 superzoom is a camera-centric smartphone as the name implies. The camera on the smartphone is a 64MP shooter with 60x superzoom. It has a quad-camera setup with the primary lens being a 64MP lens with an f1.8 aperture, an 8MP periscope telephoto lens, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. The front camera also has a dual-camera setup with a 32MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera.
The Realme X3 superzoom is powered by the Qualcomm snapdragon 855+ processor which is an octa-core processor. The display is a 6.66 inch IPS LCD panel with a 1080 x 2400 resolution. The front display also has corning gorilla glass 5 for protection. The X3 superzoom is running on Android 10 out of the box with Realme UI on top. There is no support for microSD card to expand storage. The two variants available will offer 128GB of storage with 8GB of Ram and 256GB of storage with 12GB of Ram. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack. There is dual-band wifi on board along with Bluetooth 5.0. The battery is 4200mAh with support for supervooc fast charging.
It’s clear that Realme is going to price both of these smartphones aggressively. The Realme X3 superzoom is the more interesting offering here. This will be the first camera-centric smartphone by the smartphone maker in a long time. The pricing has not been officially announced but the X3 superzoom is selling for 499,00 € in Europe which in Indian currency is Rs. 42,895. The X3 superzoom even at that price will undercut the Xiaomi Mi 10 8GB Ram variant by Rs. 7000 and will still offer more than the Mi 10.
