Realme C1 2019 goes on open sale in India

Realme C1 2019 smartphone which was only available on flash sale earlier will now be available on an open sale on e-commerce major Flipkart.

Thus, interested customers now don’t need to wait for flash sales and can purchase the smartphone directly on Flipkart. Available in two versions, 2GB + 32GB and 3GB + 32GB, the Realme C1 costs Rs 7,499 and Rs 8,499, respectively.

The phone comes in Navy Blue and Mirror Black colours. Realme C1 2019 features a 6.2-inch full-screen display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9 and yes there is notch. There is a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor at the rear and a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calling.

The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor, 4,230mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo on top of ColorOS 5.1.

‘During the festive season in 2018, the one brand that had the maximum growth rate amongst all major smartphone brands was Realme, thereby taking the mantle of being number one emerging brand. In the run-up to Diwali, and especially in the period spanning September and October, Realme’s smartphone shipments grew by over 600 per cent, in comparison to July-August period, with a strong showing on online platforms,’ said a report by CyberMedia research.

During the same period, Xiaomi’s and Samsung’s shipments grew by 10-12 per cent each, while Huawei-Honor grew by around five per cent.

Since the brand was launched in May of 2018, it has come up with many attractive products with powerful processor, stylish designs – all at wallet friendly prices.
