We all are using mobile, laptop and other devices in our daily lives. These devices are source of some kind of radiation. However, we majorly think that mobile towers are emitting radiation which can cause different health issues. But when you compare mobile towers to devices, which we use on a regular basis, mobile and PCs are more hazardous to us.
We spoke Mr. Pranav Poddar, Director, Environics, to understand what sort of radiation we are dealing with and simple ways to avoid radiations.
Types of radiation and health issues
There are two types of radiation, one is manmade, emitting from mobile, PC and mobile towers etc. and second is natural radiation which is emitting from earth. The manmade radiation sources can cause a headache and stress, sleep disorder etc. WHO (World Health Organization) has classified the mobile radiation in the same risk category in which cigarette smoking was in 25 years ago. We have Wi-Fi at the office and home, thus we are exposed to electromagnetic radiation all the time.
How to deal with radiant gadgets?
One thing that can safeguard is Envirochip that you can stick to your phone, laptop, Wi-Fi router etc. and turn the bad radiation into neutral. Also, if you maintain a distance between the devices or strict the usage, you will be less exposed to radiation. For instance, if you are keeping your device touching your body, it can be harmful, if it’s placed on a distance, one of more than one feet away, the radiation is no more harmful to you. it won’t.
