It looks like PUBG Mobile has hit its first major bug after the New Era 1.0 update. Players who have been using their Facebook accounts to log in and play the game have been hit. PUBG Mobile gives three different options to users to log in to the game. One of the options is the usual Google Play option, the other option was the Guest mode, and then there was the Facebook login option. As of now, it seems that players who were using their Facebook account to login and play the game have been unable to do so. A tweet from the PUBG Mobile official twitter account also acknowledged the issue.
Dear players, we are aware of the current problem encountered by players who are trying to login via Facebook. We are actively working with related platform and supporting to solve the problem. Please stay tuned for updates and thank you for your understanding and patience!

This is the first time that PUBG Mobile is having issues with the Facebook login option. From the tweet, it seems that the problem is not exactly PUBG Mobile's fault but the fault of the platform. It is yet unclear if the login issue is only affecting a region or is it a worldwide outage. That being said players who were using their Facebook accounts to play the game will have to wait for the patch fix to come.
Indians Are Still Playing PUBG Mobile but Secretly:
PUBG Mobile was banned in India by the Government on September 2nd but it seems that Xiaomi and Samsung did not get the memo. People who are using Xiaomi and Samsung devices in India are still able to not only play PUBG M but also able to download all the updates. From what we are able to gather it seems that Samsung and Xiaomi are updating PUBG Mobile using their own app stores and web browsers. Not only that but once the game has been updated even players from India can enter the match.
It remains to be seen if the game will ever comeback in India but from the reports coming out from reputed news outlets, the game is gone for good.
