Oneplus Nord Officially Launched in India, Price Starts at Rs. 24,999

Oneplus has finally launched its first mid-range smartphone in six years. The Oneplus Nord is the new device by the smartphone manufacturer. In the launch event that took place on July 21, the new smartphone was revealed. The Oneplus Nord is going to be the second smartphone in the Indian market that will come with the Snapdragon 765+ processor. The front display of the smartphone will house the dual front cameras in the punch hole. At the launch event, the company has claimed that the Oneplus Nord has been given over 300 optimizations to give users a faster and smoother experience.   

Price of Oneplus Nord In India:

The pricing of the new smartphone in India is interesting. Oneplus Nord has an India exclusive variant. The India exclusive variant of the device is the base model that offers 6GB of Ram and 64GB of internal storage. This India exclusive variant is priced at Rs. 24,999. There are two other variants of the device that are available as standard in the global market. One is the 8GB Ram model with 128GB of internal storage. This variant is priced at Rs. 27,999. The other is the top model of Oneplus Nord that comes with 12GB of Ram and 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone will be sold via Amazon and on the Oneplus website from August 4. In the beginning, only the 8GB Ram model and the 12GB Ram model will be available for sale. The 6GB Ram model which is exclusive to the Indian market will be from September. Prebooking for the Oneplus Nord will start from July 22 but only in Oneplus experience stores. To prebook online you’ll have to wait till July 28 to do it on Amazon. There will be an early sale on August 3 on the Oneplus India website. For Indian customers, Oneplus is offering Rs. 2,000 discount on American Express cards. Indian customers will also get benefits of up to Rs. 6,000 on Reliance Jio.

OnePlus Nord specifications:

Oneplus Nord will be powered by the Snapdragon 765+ processor. This is the latest generation of Qualcomm processors that are great for gaming and daily usage. The GPU is Adreno 620. The display is 6.4 inches Fluid AMOLED panel with 1080x2400 pixels resolution. There is corning gorilla glass 5 on the front and the back of the smartphone. The screen has a 90Hz refresh rate. Oneplus Nord supports dual sim cards but lacks storage expandability via MicroSD card. There is a quad-camera setup at the back of the smartphone. The primary camera is a 48MP lens with OIS. The secondary camera is an 8MP ultrawide lens. The third camera is a 5MP depth sensor and the fourth camera is a 2MP macro shooter. On the front, there is a dual-camera setup. The primary front camera is a 32MP shooter and the secondary front camera is a 2MP ultrawide sensor. There is no headphone jack in the Oneplus Nord. The battery capacity is 4,115 mAh and there is support for 30W fast charging. When it comes to connectivity the Oneplus Nord supports dual-band wifi, Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC. There is also an in-display fingerprint scanner. Oneplus Nord will come in three storage and ram configurations in India. 6GB Ram and 64GB storage. 8GB Ram and 128GB of storage. 12GB of Ram and 256GB of storage.
