OnePlus 7 Pro which recently went up for sales has got into serious trouble. Few users are reporting a display problem that seem to have affected many units. Consumers are calling the issue OnePlus 7 Pro Phantom Touch or Ghost Touch issue wherein the touchscreen randomly processes non-existent taps, meaning something is tapped on the screen even if it’s in idle state.

Another user experienced the OnePlus 7 Pro phantom touch issue not only in CPU-Z, but in Flamingo for Twitter, Instagram, and one time just sitting on the default home screen. The user then switches to 60Hz refresh rates that produced less phantom touch issues.

After viewing most recent threads on the OnePlus 7 Pro phantom touch issues on the forum, not all users were affected. The company is now also aware of the issue and is looking to roll out a fix soon.
