Nokia C3 Announced, Comes with an Octa-Core Processor and 8MP Rear Camera

Nokia has announced the new Nokia C3 handset in China. The new Nokia C3 will be a budget smartphone with an octa-core processor and 3GB of Ram. The smartphone has been launched in China for now but may come to the Indian markets at a later date. Among other things, the Nokia C3 will come with an HD+ resolution and 3,040 mAh battery. The smartphone has been priced aggressively in China at CNY 699 which is Rs. 7520.41 in Indian currency. In India, Nokia has been selling its Android smartphones and feature phones that are a callback to the classic Nokia handsets. 

Specifications of Nokia C3:

The Nokia C3 has been launched with some interesting specifications in China. The smartphone will be powered by the Unisoc SC9863A chipset which is what is making the price of the smartphone so aggressive. The processor is neither from Qualcomm or Mediatek which explains the price being so low. The ram is 3GB and the internal storage is 32GB. The display is a 5.99-inch panel with HD+ resolution. On the design front, the device sports a simple and functional design language with thick bezels and the traditional Nokia brick design from the Lumia days. There is support for MicroSD card expansion and dual-sim cards. Though it is not confirmed what is sim card slot layout looks like. On the battery front, the Nokia C3 will come with a 3,040 mAh battery. This is a budget 4G smartphone with support for Bluetooth 4.2 and 2.4Ghz wifi band. There is a headphone jack and a MicroUSB port for charging and connectivity. The Nokia C3 will come in two color options. One is the Nordic Blue and the other is the Gold Sand. The smartphone will be running on Android 10 out of the box. On the camera part, there is a single lens at the back of the smartphone with a fingerprint reader and one at the front of the device for selfies. The lens at the back is an 8MP shooter and the lens at the front is a 5MP shooter. 

Price of Nokia C3 in India:

There has been no word regarding the launch of the Nokia C3 in India as of now. The price of the smartphone in China is 699 Yuan which is around Rs. 7,521 INR. If the smartphone comes to the Indian market we predict the price to be near Rs. 8,000.
