Microsoft launches Surface Pro 7+ for Business and Surface Hub 2S 85” in India

The Surface line-up by Microsoft has come a long way and with the announcement of the new Surface machine, Microsoft is trying to take the concept of professional machines in a very different direction. Surface machines have garnered a lot of attention in the past year and has seen their usage increase by more than double the rate. These machines are built keeping in mind the requirements of customers operating in hybrid work environments.

The Surface Pro 7+ for business comes with optional LTE that enhances the connectivity and lets you stay connected on the go. This feature also lets you stay connected even if you are not connected to Wi-Fi or are in a remote location. Priced at 83,999, the Surface Pro 7+ comes with the same iconic form factor as previous generations but this time the company has maintained a good balance between the look and portability of a tablet and the power and productivity of a regular laptop.

The newest Surface Hub 2S 85" is priced at 21,44,999 and is intended towards helping organizations bridge the gap between the physical and digital void that today's time and age have created in the hybrid spaces.

As a result of customer conversations and commissioned research, Microsoft drew four key learnings. Firstly, the future of hybrid and fast-paced working requires more flexibility. This has changed post-pandemic. According to the research, 82% of managers say they will have more flexible work from home policies post-pandemic, and 71% of employees want to continue work from home at least part-time. People have created their own working spaces in their homes and other comfortable spaces.

They also realized that working remotely needs connectivity that is uninterrupted and can help run businesses smoothly. The importance of bandwidth was never realized by people before. Pandemic and remote working conditions have thrown light on the fact that people are tend to use mobile hotspots in search of better connectivity. Keeping this in mind, Microsoft implemented the LTE feature so that you can be connected without interruptions.

Thirdly, they understood that the camera is the new equivalent of meeting and face-to-face conversations. One of the findings of this extensive research was that people have started feeling more empathetic and intimately involved in other people's lives while interacting with them from a not-so-professional setting.

The Surface Pro 7+ comes with the latest Intel Core 11th Gen processors, providing 2.1 times faster performance. The battery life is now longer and can last up to 15 hours on a single charge. The colours Black and Platinum colours available are muted and provide a professional look no matter where you are working from. When it comes to ports and connections, the Surface Pro 7+ comes with USB-A and USB-C ports offering the adaptability to dock into any external displays and leverage the needed peripherals for a full workstation setup. The laptop has, not one but two, cameras, one on the front and one on the rear side. Both the cameras are 1080p with Dolby Atmos speakers. The Surface Pro 7+ is 23% lighter than the previous generation devices and is made out of 99% natural fiber-based material.

The Sufrace Pro 7+ is available in all processor variants from the Intel Core 11th Gen processors. You can choose Intel Core i3 based laptop for light work and go all the way up to Intel Core i7 11th gen processor based on the power that you require. The price of the Intel Core i3 variant starts at INR 83,999 and the Surface Hub 2S 85" is priced at INR 21,44,999. In addition to the currently available 50” Surface Hub 2S, the 85” version will now allow customers to take advantage of the Windows 10 Pro and Enterprise configurations, enabling them to run all of their business critical applications utilizing the massive 4K PixelSense touch and ink enabled screen, Microsoft Teams certified audio and video, and an array of onboard sensors.
