MediaTek Unveils Dimensity 6100+ 5G Chipset with 108MP Camera and 5G Support

The new Dimensity 6100+ octa-core chipset from MediaTek has been released, and it is intended for the upcoming wave of popular 5G phones. The new chipset, according to the manufacturer, offers high-end characteristics such as strong power efficiency, fast frame rates, AI-powered cameras, vivid displays, and dependable Sub-6 5G connection.

5G: An enhanced 5G model with up to 140 MHz of 2CC 5G Carrier Aggregation is incorporated into the brand-new Dimensity 6100+ SoC, which is compliant with the 3GPP Release 16 standard.

Consumption of power: MediaTek UltraSave 3.0+ technology's contribution to power consumption will be significantly reduced, according to the chipmaker. It is claimed that this will reduce 5G power consumption by 20% in comparison to competing options.
