There have been numerous complaints from very angry and justifiably so from M1 Mac Mini regarding Bluetooth connections. Apparently, the newly launched Mac Mini with the M1 processor is having such terrible issues with maintaining a seamless Bluetooth connection that both Reddit and Twitter is full of users complaining about it. Bear in mind that the M1 is Apple's first ever chip designed specifically for Mac specifically. It is supposed to give an incredible performance, custom technologies, and revolutionary power efficiency according to Apple.
This issue is not a new one as well. It seems that users of Mac Mini with M1 processors have been facing the issue for quite some time. What's worse is that it is not a device specific issue that is only affecting a small number of users. People have tried connecting different Bluetooth devices with their M1 Mac Mini but connection drops still persist. Yes, technically you can circumvent this problem by using a wired accessory but at that point why not buy an affordable Windows machine or build one yourself.
The issue was highlighted by a Youtube by the name of Patrick Tomasso. He was so fed up with his quite expensive Mac Mini dropping connection that he had to make a video about it. This also indicates the amount of care that Apple is giving to its first ever Mac Mini with M1 processors. What is also troubling about the Bluetooth problem of Mac Mini is the fact that we still don't actually know if this is a hardware issue or a software one.
Both 9to5Mac and AppleInsider have also covered the issue but Apple hasn't responded yet about what is going on with these devices or if there is a patch coming soon. This was supposed to be Apple's poster boy for people who wanted powerful computing in a small package but it can't even work with a Bluetooth mouse, keyboard, headphones, smartphones.

The M1 seems like a product that was launched without beta test
