Lenovo has finally launched its Ideapad Flex 5 in India at ₹ 56,990. This is a notebook that is focused on productivity and portability. The Ideapad Flex 5 by Lenovo is a 2 in 1 notebook that can also turn into a tablet if users want to switch to a touch-based input. Since the laptop market in India is finally heating up it makes sense for Lenovo to capitalize on the demand. There are not a lot of options in the sub Rs. 60,000 price bracket for a good 2 in 1 laptop notebook and that too with a Ryzen 5 processor. The Ideapad Flex 5 is an extremely thin and lightweight laptop with a 14-inch display and thin bezels and it is great for media consumption.

The Ideapad Flex 5 will come with the latest AMD Ryzen 5 4500U Processor which has a base clock of 2.3GHz and a Max boost of 4GHz. There are 6 cores and 6 threads and since it is a Ryzen it also comes with dedicated Vega graphics so it will be able to play light games. The Ideapad Flex 5 will also come with 8GB of DDR4 Ram and 512GB of SSD storage. Lenovo ships with the Ideapad Flex 5 a Lenovo active pen that can be used to take notes just like an iPad but on Windows. Since it is an Amazon exclusive launch the laptop also comes with Alexa pre-installed. There is a fingerprint reader as well and BlueTooth 4.2 with support for dual-band wifi. The front camera on the device also has a physical privacy shutter that can be closed by the users. The keyboard is backlit and Lenovo has claimed that the Ideapad Flex 5 can go for 12 to 13 hours on a single charge. There is also support for rapid charging. For audio, the Ideapad Flex 5 comes with 2 speakers with support for Dolby audio. Port options include two USB 3.1 ports, a type-c USB port that can be used for charging as well, and an HDMI port. The Ideapad Flex 5 will come pre-installed with Windows 10 and MS Office in India.
