This year, the iPhone 15 will be released! As September approaches, leaks and rumours will become increasingly prevalent. A fake iPhone 15 Pro was spotted on TikTok's Chinese version this time.
According to this latest rumour, Apple plans to modify the iPhone Pro this year, including adjustments to the button arrangement and more. While specific updates will likely be rolled out across the iPhone 15 series, some may be limited to the iPhone 15Pro and iPhone 15Pro Max or Ultra versions.
What can we anticipate from the iPhone 15?
To begin, the Lightning port will likely be phased out, with all iPhone 15 models receiving the USB-C connection. The titanium chassis and solid-state buttons will be standard on the Pro variants. These buttons will differ from those seen on Douyin, the Chinese counterpart of TikTok, on the previous iPhone 14 Pro.
Will the iPhone 15 have any similarities to the Apple Watch Ultra?
If the speculations concerning these solid-state buttons are genuine, the ring/silent switch will be replaced with an Action button, similar to the one seen on the Apple Watch Ultra. We are still determining how we feel about potentially losing the switch - we all know how that backfired for OnePlus - until the firm was forced to reinstate the slider on its subsequent products.
As is expected, several little features are visible on the dummy model, which is most likely derived from leaked CADs from iPhone cover makers. Will the iPhone 15 Pro include an actual SIM card port, which was deleted from all US versions last year? We have yet to determine.
Expected features of the iPhone 15 models
All iPhone 15 models will likely have last year's Pro-only feature, Dynamic Island, as well as lower bezels, more RAM, and the A17 Bionic CPU for the iPhone 15 Pro model. As is traditional for Apple, the new iPhone 15 lineup will be introduced in September. However, before we see the new iPhones, we'll get a sneak peek at iOS 17 at Apple's WWDC23 event in June.
