Indian smartphone manufacturer, Lava has extended its portfolio with the launch of an affordable 3G smartphone, Iris 414. The dual-SIM Android smartphone is listed on company's website and its availability will be announced soon.
The smartphone features a 4-inch TFT display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It features Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box, and there is no word of an upgrade to Android 5.0 Lollipop by the manufacturer.
The smartphone is powered by a 1400mAh battery.
Under the hood is 1 GHz processor and 512MB RAM for multitasking. The smartphone has 4GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
There is a 3.2 megapixel rear camera with flash and a VGA front camera on the smartphone for taking pictures and video calling. The price of the smartphone is Rs. 4,049
