Jio GigaFiber: Register now and win 4K LED TV free

Reliance at its 42nd AGM even announced its broadband service – Jio GigaFiber along with TV and landline service. While the broadband service has been leaked on the internet from the past several months, Jio at the event also announced a first-of-its-kind smart TV set-to-box that puts together several great features in a single box.

And to make things more interesting, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani announced that users opting for Forever plan of Jio GigaFiber will get a HD (High Definition) TV or a 4K LED television and a 4K set-top-box for free.

The Jio GigaFiber subscribers will get download speeds of up to 1 GBPS and a landline phone with the connection. Ambani further said that Jio GigaFiber services will be available for consumers starting September 5 – also the day when Jio will celebrate its third anniversary.

Here are the steps to register online and win a free TV.

Go to Jio GigaFiber. Fill in your address.

In the next pop-up window, you will be required to fill in your personal details such as full name, mobile number and ‘email id.

If the Jio GigaFiber service is available in your selected area, an executive from the company will call you for the next steps. After your address and other details have been verified your broadband connection will be activated in a day’s time. You will be required to deposit a refundable amount of Rs 2,500. There will be no installation cost in the initial rollout period, the company said.
