Jio AirFiber to Launch in India: Know About the Wireless Internet Access Including its Speed and Cost

A new service from Reliance Jio is about to go live and will provide wireless internet access at home and at the office. Jio AirFiber, the service, was unveiled at the company's 45th Annual General Meeting last year, but its availability and cost have remained a secret. It might, however, enter the market in the upcoming months. RIL President Kiran Thomas, quoted in the article, stated his trust in the wireless internet service. The "company's connected homes strategy" will be "accelerated," he claimed.

During the 2022 AGM, Mukesh Ambani disclosed that Jio AirFiber would allow users to access wireless internet at speeds comparable to fiber optics, take advantage of a variety of low-latency and high-bandwidth applications, parental control, support for Wi-Fi 6, and more.

According to reports, the new Wi-Fi service will present fierce competition to other internet providers like Airtel, BSNL, and ACT. Jio's true-5G technology, which is based on SA (standalone) technology, provides the foundation for Jio AirFiber. This indicates that, in contrast to Bharti Airtel's NSA (non-standalone) technology, it is independent of existing 4G infrastructure. According to Jio, this provides it a speed and dependability advantage over its rivals.
