iPhone 12 Is Coming on October 12, New Rumours Come to the Surface

It now looks like the new iPhone 12 is finally coming in October of 2020. The new leak came from Jon Posser on twitter who is well-known for his predictions and leaks. The new dates do showcase consistency from Apple's side but they need to be taken with a pinch of salt. Jon Posser himself tweeted that he has had 80% success with his predictions in the past with Apple's devices for there is a 20% chance that these leaked dates can change anytime but for now, let's focus on the details we already have. According to the tweet, the new iPhone series is set to release on the 12th of October 2020 or 12/10/2020. Keep in mind that release dates and shipping dates are two different things but the tweet also mentions that the iPhone 12 will go for pre-order on the 12th of October which is the same day it will launch.

In the tweet, Jon Posser also mentioned that the new I Phone 12 launch will come after the Apple iPad and Apple watch release on September 7th. Now another thing that needs to be mentioned here is that the new iPhone series 12 models will be the 5G models and the rumored 4G variant of the iPhone 12 will come in 2021 to make sure that the new iPhone 12 does not have any competition at the time of launch.

From the rumours and leaks, we can get a sense of what to expect with the iPhone series 12 at the time of launch. The iPhone 12 series will come with OLED display panels and the iPhone 12 Pro might even get a 120Hz refresh panel display. The processor powering the new iPhone 12 series will be the new A14 Bionic chipset developed in-house by Apple. The new iPhone series 12 will run out of the box on the new iOS 14. There are also rumours saying that the Pro model might even get 18W fast charging.
