How Integration Wizards end to end logistics platform helped Postnord?

The Challenge:

Postnord uses a set of field service mobility solutions to manage & track each & every parcel from source to destination. It caters to individuals, small business and enterprises alike allowing them to ship letters, parcels across various channels. Parcels can either be dropped in several thousand Kiosks across the Nordic countries or can be picked through one of the many Postnord executives.

The set of applications comprise of a terminal sorting used by terminal staff, a navigation & POD app used by delivery drivers & a kiosk application used at pos for customer pickup & delivery. The old solution was based on Windows Mobile 6.5 & Motorola MC65 devices which is obsolete now & fast reaching the end of life.

Postnord envisioned a move to modern operating system Android, running on rugged enterprise device Zebra TC56/TC25. The biggest challenge was to make this transition without affecting the business operations & backend logistics system.

The Solution: Integration Wizards Silverline product

This is when Postnord reached out to Integration Wizards to suggest a solution that answers all their problems.

Integration Wizards, with their innovative platform Silverline & partnership with Zebra, proposed a new set of applications built on Android platform running on Zebra TC56/25 devices. The rollout was carried out in phases to make sure there is no impact on existing business operations.
