India's Redmi Note 12 5G Launch Is Scheduled for January 5th

Redmi is launching its Redmi Note 12 Pro in India on January 5th. The company has confirmed that the lineup will comprise a Pro and a Pro+ variant. According to the Xiaomi sub-brand, the Redmi Note 12 5G will also be announced at the same event. The upcoming product's key details can be found on the brand's microsite. Additionally, Amazon has confirmed that it is available.

According to the microsite, the Redmi Note 12 5G will feature an AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout for the front camera that is centered. The volume rocker and power buttons are located on the right side of the compact device.

The latter can also scan fingerprints. It is said that the upcoming product will be the smallest Note device ever. A camera module that is rectangular and resembles the Redmi K50i can be found on the back panel.

The Redmi Note 12 5G is said to be powered by a Snapdragon processor that is compatible with 5G on the inside. 33-watt fast charging will be supported when it arrives. The smartphone will have three cameras on the back, each with a 48 megapixel main sensor.

The display on the Redmi Note 12 5G in China is 6.67 inches by 120 Hz FHD+. It has up to 256GB of storage, up to 8GB of RAM, and a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC. A battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh powers the device.
